1. Editorial Independence

The Editorial Board of MJARET operates independently. All editorial decisions are based solely on the manuscript’s scholarly merit, originality, clarity, and relevance to the journal’s scope.

2. Peer Review Policy

MJARET follows a double-blind peer review process. Each submitted manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent experts. Neither the reviewers nor the authors know each other's identities, ensuring unbiased and transparent evaluation.

3. Authorship Criteria

All listed authors must meet the following criteria:

  • Made substantial contributions to the conception, design, or analysis
  • Drafted or critically revised the manuscript
  • Approved the final version
  • Agreed to be accountable for the content

Changes to authorship after submission must be approved by all authors and the editor.

4. Conflict of Interest

All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest that could influence the manuscript or review process.

5. Plagiarism and Research Misconduct

MJARET strictly prohibits plagiarism, data fabrication, and duplicate submissions. All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection tools. Suspected misconduct will be handled following COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.

6. Data and Reproducibility

Authors must retain raw data for at least five years post-publication. Upon request, authors must provide data to validate results. Manuscripts should contain sufficient methodological detail for reproducibility.

7. Corrections and Retractions

MJARET issues:

  • Corrections – For factual errors not affecting study validity
  • Retractions – For serious errors, plagiarism, or unethical research

8. Open Access and Licensing

All content is published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Articles are freely accessible and may be reused with proper attribution.

9. Article Processing Charges (APC)

To maintain open access publishing:

  • ₹1500 INR for Indian authors
  • $50 USD for international authors

No fees are charged at submission. Charges apply only after acceptance.

10. Appeals and Complaints

Authors may appeal decisions by submitting a written justification to the Editor-in-Chief. Complaints about journal processes or ethics should be emailed to: editor@mjaret.com.
