Published by MRL Publishing House
1. Policy Statement
MJARET maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism. All manuscripts submitted to the journal must be the authors’ original work and must not contain plagiarized material or unauthorized use of others’ content.
2. Definition of Plagiarism
Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:
- Copying text, ideas, images, or data from another source without proper attribution
- Paraphrasing substantial portions of another work without acknowledgement
- Claiming results from research done by others
- Self-plagiarism (reuse of one’s own previously published work without citation)
3. Detection and Screening
All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using reputable plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin, iThenticate). Manuscripts showing a similarity index greater than 15–20% (excluding references and quotations) may be returned to the authors or rejected outright.
4. Actions for Plagiarism
If plagiarism is detected at any stage:
- Before publication: The manuscript will be rejected and the authors will be notified.
- After publication: The article will be retracted and marked as “Retracted” on the journal website. A retraction notice will be published, and the authors’ institution(s) may be informed.
5. Author Responsibilities
Authors must ensure that:
- Their work is entirely original
- All sources and citations are properly acknowledged
- Permission is obtained for reused content
6. Editorial Responsibilities
