Abstract

To rectify burst faults of two consecutive bit locations inside a byte, look-up table-based error detection and correction integer codes are provided in this study. The convenience of encoding and decoding methods, as well as the fact that a look-up table-based error control technique takes very minimal memory, are two of its key advantages.
